Through my preschool learning environment I incorporate biblical principles into science, technology, engineering, and math. I put forth every effort to provide a caring, positive, and safe learning environment for your child/children. LTS is inclusive. This family childcare is open to all children, regardless of race, color, nationality, economic status, gender, religious affiliation, or ability.

Assessment & documentation

Early childhood assessments are a tool used to collect and provide educators, parents, and families with essential data regarding a child’s growth and needs. Assessments can aid in early intervention detection and advanced placement in primary school. Types of assessments that may be used up in our classroom are:

formal and informal observations
running records
work samples
curriculum assessments
portfolios
standardized testing if considering an advanced academic primary school after child ages out the program

Curriculum

We use the creative curriculum and we incorporate a hand crafted faith based curriculum with an emphasis on (DAP) Developmentally Appropriate practices.

My low ratio classroom promotes confidence within each child that can support your child both socially and emotionally. This is achieved by placing them in a small group of their peers allowinbg them to strengthen their problem solving skills, communication skills, cooperation skills, and team building skills.

Your child receives the personalized care of a nanny from an educated early childhood teacher. My experience as a teacher is rooted in the Love of a God & the love, grace, and patience I have as a mother. Our ever evolving indoor and outdoor STEM enriched learning environment helps then to see the relationship between themselves, the creator, and their world.
